Financial Modelling Associate

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Modelling Associate to join our dynamic credit investment firm, Marks Sattin (UK) Ltd.

The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in driving investment performance by enhancing our fund modelling and analytical capabilities. This role is ideal for an individual with a strong commercial mindset and a proven track record in financial modelling combined with an interest in financial markets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop models for asset performance, fund net performance, and management fee projections.
  • Lead the implementation of scalable modelling solutions, collaborating with the Credit Data team.
  • Manage ongoing updates to models, ensuring they meet evolving business needs.
  • Analyse fund performance, producing insights for senior management and investment teams.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance returns or reduce risk and provide actionable recommendations.
  • Standardize model outputs for consistent communication across the business.

Requirements:

  • Advanced Excel skills, with Python or VBA knowledge a plus.
  • Experience in financial modelling for private funds desirable.
  • Familiarity with financial reporting and BI tools (SQL, Power BI) is beneficial.
  • Proficient in handling large datasets and deriving actionable insights.
