Job Overview

Morrison Energy Services is seeking a skilled Site Manager to join our UK Power Networks contract in Hertfordshire. As a key member of our Substation Build Team, you will be responsible for coordinating and supervising construction activities from commencement to final completion.

As a Site Manager, you will act as the principal contact for the client, ensuring seamless communication and project delivery. You will also be responsible for developing and implementing Safety documentation, including Health and Safety Plans, Method Statements, and Risk Assessments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Day-to-day management of site operatives, subcontractors, and site work
  • Development and implementation of Safety documentation
  • Client liaison, including client audits and progress meetings
  • Procurement of materials using computer-based systems
  • Compilation of documents and As-Built records for handover files

Requirements:

  • Qualified to HNC/ Degree Level in Construction, Civil Engineering, or an Electrical discipline or equivalent
  • CITB Site Managers Safety Training Scheme
  • Temporary Works Supervisor
  • A background in construction and the electricity industry
  • Competency to work in Substations up to 132kV
  • Knowledge of NEC contracts
  • Knowledge of current legislation relating to Health, Safety, and Environment
  • Cost/Value reporting exposure
  • IT literate, specifically in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Hold a full valid driving license
