Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Advanced Practitioner to join our Safeguarding team in the Essex area. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for engaging with children, their carers, and families to understand their circumstances, wishes, and feelings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Form conclusions that direct longer-term interventions focused on the best interests of the child.
  • Be the first point of contact for children, creating a safer environment and ensuring their well-being.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve the best outcomes for children.
  • Participate in comprehensive training and professional development opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Recognized social work qualification.
  • Minimum 5 years of post-qualifying experience, preferably in Child Protection teams.
