Electrical Supervisor - Commercial Installations

Carbon60 is seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to join our Electrical Engineering Division. This is a fantastic opportunity for an electrical supervisor with commercial installation experience to support electrical installation contracts across the Midlands.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work with the engineering team to deliver electrical installation projects on time and within budget, according to the specification, engineering drawings, and programme of works.
  • Monitor test certificates returned to the office and arrange labour and materials to complete projects.
  • Carry out basic estimating and tendering duties, progressing onto larger projects as experience is gained.
  • Visit various sites to assess quality of work and attend site meetings to assess client requirements as needed.
  • Perform various office duties, including contacting wholesalers to request quotes for materials and scanning and sending notifications of orders, purchase orders, etc. to head office.
  • Assess and write job-specific method statements and risk assessments.
  • Read and interpret Electrical Schematic Diagrams and Drawings.
Requirements:
  • Demonstrable experience of supervising commercial electrical installation projects with a strong electrical installation background.
  • NVQ level 3 Qualified with AM2 or equivalent.
  • 2391 testing and inspection is preferred.
  • SSSTS/SMSTS and First Aid would be advantageous.
  • A full UK Driving License (the role comes with a company vehicle).

In return for your experience, you will receive a salary circa £43,000 plus a company van and a range of benefits associated with a market-leading engineering company.
