Audit Trainee

As a Part-Qualified ACA Audit Trainee, you'll have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of social impact organizations, including NHS charities, museums, arts and culture charities, and educational institutions.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct audit fieldwork on behalf of nonprofit clients, working closely with the wider audit team to ensure high-quality results.
- Review accounts in accordance with Financial Reporting Standards and legal requirements, identifying areas for improvement and providing recommendations to clients.
- Draft basic corporation tax computations and assist with managing client expectations and deadlines.
- Support the development of client relationships and attend client meetings to discuss audit findings and recommendations.
- Maintain knowledge of relevant ISA requirements and internal policies, ensuring the production of high-quality audit files.
- Collaborate with other trainees to deliver assignments and support their personal development, fostering a culture of teamwork and knowledge sharing.
- Currently studying towards the ICAEW ACA qualification, having completed at least all certificate level papers, or the AAT Level 4 qualification.
- At least 1 year of audit experience is mandatory, with experience of working with nonprofit clients being highly desirable.
- Technically competent, with experience of Pro-audit, CCH Accounts Production, Xero accounting, Quickbooks, and Alphatax being an advantage.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
