Job Title: Category Executive

Our client, a leading food manufacturer, is seeking a skilled Category Executive to drive profitable sales growth through strategic category planning and consumer understanding.

Based in the Midlands, the successful candidate will be responsible for providing category expertise to create and deliver differentiated category plans, realizing growth for customers and the business.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conveying expertise that encompasses the market, category, customer, and shopper to identify risks and opportunities for customers and the business.
  • Embedding customer and category strategies into shopper-centric plans to influence key category levers, range, merchandising, price, and promotion.
Requirements:
  • 4 years of experience in a Category Management focused role within FMCG.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, professionalism, and an inquisitive approach to category management.
  • Excellent data literacy skills, with the ability to integrate data and insights.
  • Ability to generate creative and effective solutions.
