We are seeking a highly skilled and vigilant Security Officer to join our team at Securitas Security Services. As a Security Officer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of individuals and property within your assigned area.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Monitoring fire alarms, intruder alarms, and CCTV systems to prevent unauthorized access to the site.
- Conducting regular security patrols to deter potential threats and ensure the safeguarding of the premises.
- Issuing visitor and contractor passes, handling lost property, and maintaining accurate logbooks and records.
- Providing exceptional customer service and support to staff, visitors, and contractors while ensuring the health and safety procedures are followed at all times.
- Interacting with colleagues in a supportive and professional manner, adhering to our company's Core Values.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
- SIA License
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Security Officer
- Valid Driver's License and access to a reliable vehicle
- RTW and 5-year checkable history
- Confident and vigilant individual with excellent communication skills
- Good customer service skills and conflict management abilities
- Basic IT literacy
