Job Summary:

Oyster Recruitment Limited is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join their team in a hybrid role. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the full project lifecycle in a custom fabrication and manufacturing environment, ensuring timely delivery within budget and in line with company objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Head of Projects in ensuring successful project execution
  • Bring technical expertise, commercial awareness, and strong leadership to the project management team
  • Oversee the full project lifecycle, from initial project briefs to project delivery
  • Work collaboratively with the project management team to ensure project success
  • Travel to customer sites across the region, requiring a full UK Driving Licence and access to a vehicle (compensated with a generous car allowance)

Requirements:

  • A project management qualification with at least 5 years of hands-on experience within a closely related industry
  • CDM knowledge (Construction, Design and Management) Regulations
  • Extensive experience in client-facing roles, including gathering initial project briefs and coordinating with all relevant parties
  • Willingness to travel overseas on occasion
  • Fabrication/manufacturing project management experience
  • Experience of large Oil and Gas/Power projects
  • Understanding of the capabilities of Primavera P3e, Microsoft Project, or Asta project planning software
