Mobile Plant Fitter

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Mobile Plant Fitter to join our team at Rise Technical Recruitment Limited. As a Mobile Plant Fitter, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing mobile plant equipment, ensuring it is in good working condition and meets the required safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

* Maintain and repair mobile plant equipment, including engines, motors, pumps, and other mechanical components
* Conduct routine inspections and tests to identify potential issues and prevent breakdowns
* Perform repairs and maintenance tasks in a field-based environment, working independently and as part of a team
* Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to resolve complex issues and improve equipment performance

Requirements

* 2+ years of experience in a mechanical or engineering role, preferably in a field-based environment
* Strong understanding of engines, motors, pumps, and other mechanical components
* Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces, with a focus on safety and risk management
* Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team
