Electrical Engineer Position at Presspart Manufacturing Ltd.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Conduct routine maintenance on all manufacturing machinery and identify areas for improvement.
  • Deliver immediate repair services for equipment failures to ensure production efficiency.
  • Oversee maintenance operations during off-hours and assist in task prioritization.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to install and validate new manufacturing systems.

Health & Safety:

Development & Learning:

  • Improve knowledge of emerging technologies through ongoing training.

Your Profile:

Education / Training:

  • National Certificate level qualification in an electrical field.
  • Completed a recognized apprenticeship in a relevant area.
  • Knowledgeable in 18th Edition wiring regulations.
  • Experience with 2391 or 2395 Electrical Inspection and Testing is advantageous.

Experience:

  • At least 3 years of experience in maintenance within a production environment.
  • Familiarity with various automated manufacturing equipment.

Knowledge:

  • Understanding of health & safety regulations and workplace safety standards.
  • Hands-on experience with PLCs, servo drives, and inverters, preferably Siemens and Mitsubishi.
  • Basic knowledge of mechanical and pneumatic systems is a plus.
