Job Summary:
Venn Group is seeking a skilled Interim Test Analyst to support business application testing and administration within the IT department of a London-based Local Authority. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering day-to-day testing services, ensuring the quality and performance of business applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and execute test scripts for user stories, ensuring thorough manual testing of individual components and end-to-end user journeys within a CRM replacement program.
- Record test results and create high-quality test plan documents to meet requirements and mitigate risks.
- Conduct functional and regression tests, support UAT testing, and collaborate within an Agile Scrum framework with business analysts, developers, and QA staff.
- Ensure testing is completed on time, review and manage test logs, and provide technical guidance to project managers.
- Apply QA best practices, seek process improvements, conduct stakeholder demos, and provide updates on testing progress.
Requirements:
- Experience in end-to-end testing (functional and integration).
- Experience in administering finance or customer-related business systems.
- Strong manual testing experience, including end-to-end testing and UAT support.
- Experience as a test analyst for a CRM product.
- Experience in functional and non-functional testing within an agile program.
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps and test/defect management tools like HPQC and JIRA.
- Experience working in a local government environment.
Desirable Requirements:
- ITIL foundation, or equivalent training and/or certification.
- Technical or professional qualification related to the role, or studying towards.
