Commercial Litigation Solicitor / Chartered Legal Executive

This is a unique opportunity for a Commercial Litigation Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive to join an International Legal 100 law firm in Bristol within their alternative legal services team.

About the Role

You will join a sub-team and provide supervision to a team of paralegals who conduct work for clients across retail, utilities, government, and technology sectors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide supervision for a team of paralegals
  • Have close client contact
  • Be strong at breaking down legal problems verbally and written
  • Manage the target for the team and ensure service level agreements are met
Key Sectors and Claims
  • Technology: Fraud, overcharging, non-delivery, personal injury, data breaches
  • Utilities: Overcharging, service disruptions
  • Financial Institutions: Withheld funds, KYC issues, lost parcels
  • Retail & Hospitality: Discrimination, defective goods, installation disputes
Requirements
  • Experience in commercial debt recovery or consumer claims - defendant or claimant
  • Qualified solicitor or chartered legal executive with 3 pqe
  • Strong technical litigation skills
  • Previous experience supervising or managing volume workstreams is an advantage
