Medical Affairs Manager

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide comprehensive support for the medical information function across Asia and designated regions, including managing medical inquiries and offering contact center assistance.
• Ensure that the medical information services are delivered in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOPs) and local regulations, maintaining readiness for inspections and audits at all times.
• Develop, revise, or execute policies, SOPs, operational practices, and work instructions, contributing to global SOP training programs and overseeing training initiatives for the International Medical Information team.
• Facilitate the onboarding and training of new personnel within the International region and UK&I affiliates.
• Collaborate with the Global Strategic Capabilities team to execute strategic and operational projects, including managing the medical information database and ensuring the quality of medical inquiry responses.
• Evaluate departmental metrics to identify and communicate patterns, trends, and issues to relevant internal stakeholders.
• Participate in the adoption of innovative technologies that enhance the delivery of medical information services.
• Work in partnership with the ACE Medical Information lead to align the medical information support model with global and regional regulatory requirements.
• Engage cross-functionally within the organization, collaborating with teams such as Global Patient Safety, Quality and Medical Governance, Regulatory Affairs, Legal/Business Conduct, and Medical Affairs.
• Serve as a consultant and contribute to the development of regional and global medical information strategies and the execution of related initiatives.
Qualifications and Skills:
• Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication abilities in English; proficiency in Chinese is preferred.
• Demonstrated success in a fast-paced, cross-functional work environment.
• Highly driven individual capable of managing multiple responsibilities efficiently.
• Strong project management, analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Familiarity with relevant regulations governing the dissemination of medical information, as well as pharmaceutical industry promotional and non-promotional activities, including adverse event and product quality complaint reporting.
Education and Experience:
• Degree in Pharmacy, Nursing, or Medical/Life Sciences, or an equivalent advanced qualification.
• Prior experience in the pharmaceutical sector is essential.
• Experience collaborating with medical information vendors is advantageous.
