Job Description

**Job Title:** Class 1 HGV Driver - Store Deliveries and Trunking

**Job Type:** Full-time

**Location:** Knowsley Depot

**About the Role:

  • We are seeking a reliable and experienced Class 1 HGV driver to join our team at Challenge-trg Group.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering goods to various stores and depots, as well as trunking operations.
  • Shift patterns will vary, including Monday to Friday, Thursday to Monday, and Friday to Tuesday.

**Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver goods to stores and depots in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Operate a Class 1 HGV vehicle in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Ensure all deliveries are completed to a high standard and in accordance with customer requirements.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives.

**Requirements:

  • A full Class 1 HGV license held for at least 2 years.
  • A valid Driver CPC card.
  • A digital tachograph card.
  • A full understanding of WTD legislation.
  • Reliable and excellent time-keeping.
  • Flexible with start times and working days.

**What We Offer:

  • Weekly pay.
  • Guaranteed minimum shift payment of 8 hours.
  • Hourly pay.
  • 24-hour assistance night operation team.
