School Nurse Practice Development/Education Lead

We are seeking an experienced School Nurse to join our dynamic team at Your Healthcare CIC. As a School Nurse Practice Development/Education Lead, you will play a key role in supporting the development of our school health service, ensuring that our interventions and activities are evidence-based and effective in promoting the health and wellbeing of school-aged children and young people.
Main Responsibilities- Develop and lead on the development of interventions and activities to promote and optimize health and wellbeing of school-aged children and young people.
- Lead on the review and evaluation of interventions and activities to ensure they align with the commissioned service offer, policy, and guidance.
- Support and coordinate programmes of learning and development for pre and post-registration nursing students, new starters, and team members.
- Fulfill the role of Practice Assessor to SCPHN students and other learning pathways.
- Registered Specialist Community Public Health Nurse (SCPHN) (School Nurse or Health Visitor)
- Practice Teacher/Assessor
- Experience of working with school-aged children and their families, safeguarding children, and clinical leadership and managerial abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure, managing competing priorities and agendas, and demonstrate evidence-based practice.
