About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a suitably qualified individual to join our team of Consultant Orthodontists and therapists at South Warwickshire University NHS Foundation Trust.

Main Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the department and contributing to the diagnosis, planning, and treatment of severe and complex malocclusion, including patients with clefts of the lip and/or palate.

Key Activities

  • Diagnosis and treatment of patients with complex orthodontic needs
  • Day-case GA and LA operating
  • Multi-disciplinary management of patients with skeletal deformity and complex restorative needs
  • Research and audit on an ongoing basis

Person Specification

Essential

  • Full registration with the United Kingdom General Dental Council (GDC)

Desirable

  • Possession of Fellowship in Dental Surgery or Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery, or equivalent
