We are seeking an experienced Senior Cardiac Theatre Practitioner to join our team at a Private Hospital in London. As a key member of our theatre team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and supporting individuals and teams to achieve safe and effective patient outcomes.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity for a skilled and experienced Cardiac Theatre Practitioner to join our team. You will be working in a dynamic and supportive environment, where you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and expertise in a range of complex care services, including oncology, cardiology, and neuroscience.
Key Responsibilities- Support individuals and teams to deliver safe, high-quality, and effective patient care that is responsive to the needs of our patients.
- Assess, plan, deliver, and evaluate all aspects of patient care, ensuring that patients receive the best possible care and treatment.
- Prepare patients and provide assistance for clinical/operative procedures, including mini-invasive cardiac cases, open cases, TAVIs, and PCIs.
- Participate fully as a team member, sharing knowledge and information, and supporting colleagues to promote a cohesive team and achieve team objectives.
- Experienced Theatre Nurse or Operating Department Practitioner (ODP) with current HCPC/NMC registration.
- Postgraduate experience in Theatres, with surgical (scrub) experience and cardiac theatre experience.
- Able to perform mini-invasive cardiac cases and open cases, TAVIs, and PCIs.
