About the Role

We have an opportunity for a Digital Construction Manager to lead the BIM activities through preconstruction to delivery on a major prison project.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review client requirements to identify risks, opportunities, and develop the BIM strategy for the project.
  • Chair BIM co-ordination meetings along with the Design Manager, this may include such activities as 'live' walkthroughs, clash detection, problem solving, co-ordination or spatial issues.
  • Compile supply chain assessments for commercial selection purposes.
  • Write and maintain BEP throughout the working life of the project and quality.
  • Manage the deployment and smooth running, at site level.

Skills & Experience

  • Architectural, structural, or MEP experience would be an advantage. From a design or construction background.
  • Proven BIM track record including authoring tools.
  • Quality focused.
  • Excellent communicator, creative and independent thinker with problem-solving skills.
  • Proactive and enthusiastic in encouraging and nurturing a BIM project team.
  • Good management and organisational skills.

Qualifications

  • Recognised BIM qualification.
