About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Graduate of Science to join our dynamic team at GSL Education. As a Graduate Science Teacher, you will play a vital role in supporting the delivery of outstanding science education to our students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the preparation and delivery of science lessons, ensuring they are engaging and accessible for all students.
  • Provide one-to-one and small group support to students, helping them to understand complex scientific concepts and improve their academic performance.
  • Prepare teaching materials and resources for practical experiments and classroom activities.
  • Support teachers in managing classroom behaviour and maintaining a positive learning environment.
  • Contribute to the continuous development of the science curriculum and participate in departmental meetings and training sessions.
Requirements
  • A recent degree in a science-related field.
  • A passion for education and a desire to inspire and motivate students.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students and colleagues.
  • Organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and child protection.
