About the Role

As a Store Manager at Claire's, you will be responsible for driving sales and profit, delivering exceptional customer service, and ensuring the store runs smoothly. Your core areas of responsibility will include:

  • Sales and profit: Achieving store targets through driving sales and implementing effective sales strategies
  • Customer service: Delivering the finest level of customer service to our customers, ensuring they have a positive experience in our store
  • Store operations: Maintaining a clean and organized store environment, ensuring all merchandise is properly displayed and stocked
  • Commerciality: Ensuring the store is well merchandised and commercially correct, with a focus on driving sales and profit
  • Team leadership: Recruiting, training, managing, and developing a high-performing team to achieve store targets
  • Ear piercing: Providing ear piercing services to customers, with full training provided

Qualifications - About You

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • 1-2 years of retail management experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Basic computer skills
  • A sound understanding of mathematics and strong reading comprehension skills
  • The ability to analyze sales reports and strategically problem-solve
  • The ability to stand during scheduled shifts
  • The ability to maneuver up to 25 lbs regularly and up to 75 lbs occasionally
  • The ability to bend, stoop, and climb ladders and step stools while placing merchandise throughout the store and assisting customers
  • The ability to operate a POS system
