About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Real Time Software Engineer to join our team at Randstad Sourceright. As a key member of our software development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing real-time embedded software for electronic motor control systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with software and hardware teams to develop and test real-time embedded software.
  • Work on the development and testing of software for electronic motor control systems.
  • Design, develop, and test software for both embedded systems and PC tools.
  • Use hardware interface techniques, basic hardware debugging, and ICE to ensure software quality.
  • Experience with formal methods of software design, GIT, and defect tracking tools is essential.
  • Familiarity with Assembler and ARM microcontrollers is an advantage.
  • Understanding of Drives or other Power Electronics technology is a distinct advantage.
  • Awareness of Health and Safety protocols and working in lab environments with mains voltages or above is crucial.
Requirements
  • Strong knowledge of real-time embedded software development and support for electronics products.
  • Experience working in an Agile environment is ideal.
  • Excellent attention to detail and quality focus.
  • Ability to work autonomously and use initiative.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a team.
