About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as a Senior Youth Care Coordinator. As a key member of our residential care team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality support and care to young people in our care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of individual care plans and risk assessments, ensuring the needs of each young person are met.
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with young people, their families, and external agencies, promoting a collaborative approach to care.
  • Maintain accurate and comprehensive records, adhering to regulatory requirements and seeking guidance from senior staff as needed.
  • Support the deputy/manager in ensuring the home operates to the highest standards of professionalism, as expected by Ofsted.
  • Contribute to the educational and social development of each young person, assisting in the implementation of Individual Education Programs.
Requirements
  • Level 3 Diploma in Children and Young People or equivalent (desirable)
  • Experience in a children's home setting (essential)
  • Passion for nurturing and supporting young people
  • Ability to work flexible shift patterns, including sleep ins, with a rota plan provided in advance
  • Must be over 21 years old to meet industry regulations

Successful employment is subject to satisfactory Full Enhanced Disclosure, right to work, and reference checks, in line with government regulations and Safer Recruitment Practices. The company will cover the costs of these checks.
