About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Property Coordinator to join our team at William H Brown, a leading estate agency with a rich history dating back over 100 years. As a Property Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in providing property management and tenancy administration support services to our branches, landlords, and tenants.

Key Responsibilities
  • Property Safety and Compliance: Arrange all required safety inspections and certification in line with current legislation to ensure our properties meet the highest standards.
  • Property Visits and Checks: Conduct routine and additional property visits and checks in a timely manner to ensure our properties are well-maintained and meet our high standards.
  • Contractor Management: Liaise with contractors and outsourcing resources to ensure repair and maintenance works are carried out to a satisfactory standard and timescale, and in line with guarantees and warranties.
  • Insurance Claims: Where possible and financially viable for the client, claim for repair and maintenance work under insurance to minimize costs.
  • Liability and Payments: Establish whether liability for work is with the landlord or tenant and ensure that relevant payments are instructed promptly and properly regarding contractors, deposits, and landlord bills.
Requirements
  • Customer Service Skills: Provide outstanding customer service to our clients, landlords, and tenants.
  • Administration Skills: Possess solid administration skills, including the ability to prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment.
  • Communication Skills: Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with contractors, landlords, and tenants.
  • IT Literacy: Be IT literate, with proficiency in MS Office, internet, and email systems.
