Job Summary:

Concept Resourcing is seeking a highly skilled Senior Fire Alarm Commissioning Engineer/Manager to join our dynamic operations team. In this role, you will work independently or alongside other engineers to provide reliable, high-quality fire system commissioning services to clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Project Management: Manage and oversee fire system installation projects from design through to final handover, reporting directly to clients.
  2. System Commissioning: Commission various fire and security systems, including:
  3. Emergency Voice Alarm Communication systems.
  4. Public Address Systems and Audio Induction Loops.
  5. Kentec fire panels.
Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of fire and security technicians, ensuring the department runs smoothly day-to-day.Installation Coordination: Coordinate and oversee the installation of fire and security systems, including alarms, CCTV, access control, and fire suppression systems.Client Liaison: Act as the main point of contact for clients regarding fire and security projects.Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all fire and security systems comply with relevant regulations and industry standards.Procurement: Procure necessary equipment, tools, and materials for installations and maintenance.Project Planning: Plan and execute projects from initial design through to implementation.

Requirements:

  1. Experience: Proven experience as a multi-disciplined Fire Engineer.
  2. Knowledge: Strong knowledge of fire alarm systems such as Gent, Advanced, Hochiki, and others.
  3. Commissioning Experience: Commissioning experience is a significant advantage.
  4. Travel Requirements: Full driving licence and willingness to travel across the UK, including overnight stays when required.
  5. Interpersonal Skills: Flexible, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  6. Health & Safety: Health & Safety trained.
