About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Support Assistant to join our team at Star Academies. As a key member of our business support team, you will play a vital role in delivering an exceptional business support service to our pupils, teachers, and wider stakeholders.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in administration, excellent organisational and technical skills, and the ability to develop relationships across our school and the Star community. You will be responsible for providing administrative support to our senior leadership team, managing databases, and maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to the senior leadership team, including managing databases and maintaining accurate records.
  • Develop and maintain relationships across our school and the Star community.
  • Manage and coordinate business support services, including procurement and budgeting.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to our pupils, teachers, and wider stakeholders.
Requirements
  • 5 good GCSEs including English and Maths.
  • Experience of working in an administrative setting.
  • The ability to use MS Office software packages, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • The ability to prioritise, work efficiently, and accurately, particularly under pressure, to deadlines and using own initiative.
