About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Print Service Engineer to join our team at Canon. As a key member of our service team, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and servicing a range of Production products, including cut sheet ink jet and continuous feed ink jet products, as well as pre and post equipment at customer sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose faults and install equipment, both onsite and remotely, while providing excellent customer service.
  • Ensure minimal disruption to clients' production through effective maintenance and repair of Production Print equipment.
  • Work closely with customers to achieve maximum productivity and clearly communicate when work is chargeable.
  • Update relevant company databases as required.
  • Use excellent communication skills to communicate effectively with Canon's customers and internal departments.
  • Comply with company policies and Health & Safety Guidelines, including product safety checks.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a field service engineer or in a similar role.
  • Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
  • Good understanding of IT/networking for device connectivity.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel.
  • Certifications in electronics or related fields (preferred).
  • Experience with specific print brands or experience in a print-related industry (e.g., HP, Ricoh, Xerox).
