Nursery Manager Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Nursery Manager to lead our award-winning nursery group in the Bristol area. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality early years education and ensuring the well-being of our children and staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the planning, delivery, and assessment of a play-based curriculum that fosters children's development in a nurturing and stimulating environment.
  • Ensure all policies and procedures related to safeguarding, child protection, and health and safety are strictly followed.
  • Build strong relationships with parents and carers, ensuring they are actively involved in their child's learning.
  • Manage the recruitment, training, and performance of a dedicated team of early years educators.
  • Oversee the nursery's financial performance, including budgeting, invoicing, and resource allocation.
Requirements:
  • A minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education.
  • Proven experience in a leadership or management role within an Early Years setting.
  • Strong knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and leadership skills.
  • A deep understanding of safeguarding, health and safety, and childcare regulations.
  • Financial management experience, including budget control and reporting.
