To excel in this role, excellent organizational and customer service abilities are essential, along with a solid grasp of engineering drawings, materials, and manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with clients to thoroughly understand their needs and specifications
  • Determine both preliminary and detailed design/project requirements and solutions
  • Create accurate manufacturing cost estimates and bills of materials
  • Develop and submit tenders
  • Secure customer approval of drawings and implement necessary amendments
  • Document and report any deviations from the original bill of materials
  • Adhere to tight deadlines and project milestones
  • Ensure design compliance with all relevant legal regulations, industry standards, and customer specifications
  • Generate action logs to facilitate corrective actions and root cause analysis
Candidate Profile:

  • Background in mechanical, structural, or manufacturing fields
  • Prior experience in estimating roles
  • Familiarity with CRM and MRP systems
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong listening and presentation capabilities
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and utilize time efficiently
  • Proficient in MS Office applications
