Job Summary

We're seeking a skilled Cloud Engineer to join our Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) team within Cloud. As a key member of our team, you'll contribute to the delivery of cloud services, helping teams across the organisation adopt our cloud platform and improve our services through monitoring and automation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure cloud architecture and infrastructure meet the latest security and software lifecycle patterns.
  • Partner with Product owners and management to manage demand planning and delivery against the projected backlog.
  • Develop and maintain cloud-native architectures, leveraging Amazon AWS or Microsoft Azure.
  • Collaborate with teams to support SSE's cloud adoption and digital transformation.
Requirements
  • Strong understanding of cloud platforms, including Amazon AWS or Microsoft Azure.
  • Cloud certification in either Amazon AWS or Microsoft Azure is desirable.
  • Knowledge of operating systems, software development lifecycle, and programming languages (Python, Go, Java).
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate with teams across the organisation.
