We are looking for a dedicated individual to join our team as a Bus Yard Operative. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our bus yard and maintaining the cleanliness of our vehicles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maneuvering buses within the yard efficiently.
- Conducting comprehensive cleaning of bus interiors and surrounding areas, which includes sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces.
- Managing waste disposal by emptying trash bins and ensuring proper waste management practices.
- Reporting any maintenance or repair needs to the relevant personnel.
- Following safety protocols and regulations consistently.
- Keeping the storage area for cleaning supplies organized and tidy.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or similar roles is advantageous.
- Familiarity with cleaning agents, methods, and safety measures.
- Physical capability to lift and transport heavy items, as well as work in various positions.
