Client: Global category leader in medical health & Life Sciences manufacturing

We are looking for a Graduate Quality Metrology and Calibration Technician/Engineer to coordinate and carry out routine maintenance and calibration of all laboratory equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain an accurate inventory of instruments, consumables, and spare parts, working closely with Supply Chain to ensure inventory records and database are up to date.
  • Liaise with outside contractors and vendors for equipment repairs or contract maintenance.
  • Maintain and upkeep the equipment assets in the electronic data management system with all maintenance and calibration events.

Requirements:

  • A' Level, TEC or equivalent qualification in a relevant engineering or scientific discipline.
  • Suitable for a developing graduate looking to build their CV and experience level in a global company in a technical, quality, and engineering support role.
  • Experience in calibration and/or maintenance support for a manufacturing company, or equivalent, with demonstrated skills in writing complex calibration SOPs and technical operating procedures.
  • Understanding of technical metrology requirements, assisting calibration specifications, coordinating, and monitoring new equipment.
  • Demonstrable experience working in a cGMP environment to ISO or FDA regulatory standards is desirable.
  • Good planning skills to produce project timelines, good with systems and data.
