This is a central role requiring experience and exceptional editorial judgment and diplomacy. You will be responsible for crafting and shaping text that supports the quality of our brand and clearly communicates the value of our conferences to policymakers and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Working with researchers to develop delegate invitations for each event, either from scratch or refining their drafts.
- Ensuring the accuracy and consistency of our brand's voice and tone across all published materials.
- Maintaining the brand capital of our unique voice and helping to develop our style over time.
- Collaborating with the editorial director to produce high-quality marketing communications and agendas.
- Providing editorial support to the team, including proofreading, writing, and communication skills.
Requirements:
- Professional-standard command of the English language.
- Razor-sharp editing, proofreading, writing, and communication skills.
- Experience in a news, current affairs, or public affairs consultancy environment.
- Headline-writing experience is ideal.
- Fluency with Microsoft Office is essential, and experience with other specialist software is an advantage.
