About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Roofing Mate to join our team at NSS Group. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for carrying out roofing maintenance and repairs on a variety of commercial and industrial sites.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out roofing maintenance and repairs on commercial and industrial sites
  • Work at height safely on a daily basis
  • Cladding, commercial, traditional, and industrial roofing maintenance
  • Guttering repairs and replacement
  • Be flexible with working hours, working away, early starts, late finishes, and some weekends as required
  • Availability to be on call on a rota basis
  • Willingness to learn new skills
  • Good communication and customer service skills
  • Pride in workmanship and accountability
  • Utilize portable devices to undertake dynamic risk assessments on site and prepare reports on completed works

Requirements

  • IPAF (1b, 3a, eb)
  • CSCS labourer or skilled worker
  • PASMA
  • Driving Licence
  • First aid
  • NVQ (Slating & Tiling / Sheeting & cladding)
  • Reactive building maintenance identifying leaks and rectification (pitched roofing, guttering, slating, concrete tiling, GRP flat roofing)
