About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled BIM Commercial Co-ordinator to join our team at Hays Construction and Property. As a key member of our Building Services engineering consultancy, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality projects across various sectors.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Generate accurate and detailed records of Building Services engineering project documentation, adhering to project BIM execution plans.
  2. Produce 2D layouts/schematics using AutoCAD and 3D BIM models, incorporating information modelling using Revit MEP.
  3. Assist Engineers in drawing production, ensuring compliance with Standards/protocols.
  4. Implement best practice procedures and coordinate drawing production in line with project requirements.
  5. Collaborate with other disciplines to technically deliver BIM/CAD projects.
  6. Create clash detection reports and resolve issues with the support of the Engineering Team.
  7. Develop standard details and procedures, ensuring family creation and input.
  8. Meet tight deadlines and work effectively alone or as part of a team.
Requirements
  1. Proficiency in software such as Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks, with examples of work requested at interview.
  2. Understanding of building services co-ordination, including knowledge of BS 1992, PAS 1192, and BS8541.
  3. Previous experience working in a Building Services consultancy environment.
  4. Familiarity with assurance processes, codes of practice, standards, and relevant sections of statutory documentation.
  5. Eligibility for security clearance and airside pass applications.
  6. Positive outlook and self-motivation.
