This well-established multidisciplinary firm is seeking a Lead Urban Planner to enhance their growing Manchester office. This role presents an excellent opportunity to engage in diverse and stimulating projects across various sectors such as residential, industrial, education, and healthcare. The Role:
As a Lead Urban Planner, you will operate from the expanding Manchester office as a key member of the Planning and Development Team. Your responsibilities will include the daily management of high-profile projects and clients, delivering clear, concise, and well-reasoned guidance. The ideal candidate will also provide support and mentorship to junior team members, fostering a collaborative and approachable work environment.
The Ideal Candidate will possess:
- Chartered town planner status
- A minimum of 2 years' experience with MRTP qualification
- Strong analytical, planning, and organizational capabilities
- Exceptional professional communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proficiency in preparing, submitting, and negotiating various planning applications
- A collaborative spirit and the ability to work independently
- Project management skills with a focus on financial budgets
