Job Title: Parent and Family Worker
Location: Nottingham
Brackenberry Ltd is partnering with a Local Authority in Nottingham to assist in the recruitment of a Parent and Family Worker for a temporary contract, with a strong possibility of extension. Interested candidates are encouraged to submit their CV for prompt consideration.
Rate of Pay: £18.25 per hour
Position Overview:
The chosen candidate will play a vital role in performing specialized evaluations and providing structured support to children, young individuals, and families.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work towards fulfilling the objectives outlined in the service and team business plan
- Conduct specialized evaluations of children, young individuals, parents, guardians, and families in accordance with service protocols
- Design and execute structured parenting interventions for diverse groups
- Maintain precise records of activities and participate in multi-agency meetings
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 5 GCSEs at grades A*-C, including English or equivalent qualifications
- Knowledge of child development, effective parenting strategies, and attachment theory
- Possession of a full driving license (unless registered disabled)
Experience:
- At least two years of experience in working with children, young individuals, and families
- Experience in delivering group work in various environments
- Experience in conducting specialized parenting evaluations and managing challenging circumstances
Additional Requirements:
- Immediate availability or a short notice period
- Eligibility to work in the U.K.
