Transmission Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Transmission Specialist to join our busy Transmissions Department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the preparation and maintenance of high-performance transmission units, developing skills across a range of competition vehicles with the potential for international travel as part of our winning teams.

• Work alongside experienced technicians to rebuild top-specification transmissions units across all our projects, including Ford Puma, Fiesta, and Rally Raid.
• Servicing customer transmissions systems for high-performance competition vehicles.
• Collaborate with our Transmissions Supervisor and Designers on technical issues and suggestions for improvement.
• Build transmissions units from technical drawings and follow build procedures.
• Ensure all build documents are up-to-date and accurate.

We are looking for a self-motivated team player with a positive and enthusiastic attitude. You should be educated to technician level and have a thorough understanding of motor vehicles and their systems. You should pride yourself on your attention to detail and be capable of delivering a high standard of performance and quality while working to strict deadlines in a time-sensitive environment.

You should have excellent communication skills, a keen eye for problem-solving, and an analytical approach. Experience in a similar mechanical/automotive background is desirable, but not essential. You should share our determination to deliver a winning performance.
