Job Description

Voltix Services Ltd, a leading provider of integrated facility management solutions, is seeking a diligent Gas (Combustion) Bias Engineer to join our dynamic team.

We are looking for an experienced professional with strong data analysis skills who can maintain and repair various building systems while being mobile across different locations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform planned and reactive maintenance issued through our Operations team within set time frames, including maintenance on HVAC systems, M&E equipment, basic electrical and plumbing work, emergency lighting testing, and tap temperature recording.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a commercial environment.
  • Competent working knowledge of all aspects of building systems and services maintenance.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Valid commercial Gas Safe qualifications (Commercial gas catering & Oftec (oil) certification is an advantage).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Proven experience (preferably a minimum of 3 years) as a combustion engineer and working on electrical and plumbing systems.
  • Good standard of Health and Safety knowledge and application.

  • Adaptable and able to adjust to changing priorities and environments.
  • Determined to solve complex problems and see tasks through to completion.
  • Committed to delivering high-quality work and maintaining client satisfaction.
What We Offer
  • Working hours: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, Monday - Friday. Flexible working hours may be required during busy periods.
  • Salary of £45-£50K, overtime dependent upon qualifications and experience.
  • 23 days of annual leave plus bank holidays.
  • Company pension after probation (Employer pays 3%, Employee minimum 3%).
  • Benenden Healthcare after 6 months.
