Job Summary:

FACER Printers is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Warehouse Operative to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for a broad range of warehouse duties, including FLT driving, stripping die-cut packaging from its sheet waste, packing, palletising & delivery of high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Warehouse Operations: Thoroughly listen to, read & interpret production instructions, and perform a range of general warehouse duties.
  • FLT Driving: Operate a forklift truck to transport goods and materials around the warehouse.
  • Product Preparation: Strip product from pallets of die-cut flat sheet material, and assist machine operators (training provided).
  • Quality Control: Inspect stripped product with a meticulous eye for consistency & detail, while maintaining speed & efficiency.
  • Packing and Palletising: Appropriately pack, label & palletise product, and produce delivery notes & arrange delivery consignments.
  • Health and Safety: Involvement in Health & Safety / Fire Safety / First Aid / Waste Management.

Candidate Requirements:

  • FLT Licence: Current FLT licence and FLT experience essential.
  • Warehouse Experience: Experience in a similar role involving high levels of physical activity, quality inspection, machine assistance, packing & palletising.
  • IT Skills: Strong IT skills, including use of bespoke systems, email & the full Microsoft Office 365 suite.
  • Adaptability: Ability to adapt to new software & systems.
  • Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Communication: Professional communication manner.
  • Health and Safety: Experience in Health & Safety / IOSH / Fire Safety / First Aid / Waste Management - any / all a bonus.
  • Machinery Operation: Experience assisting machine operators or operating machinery - a bonus.
  • Teamwork: Willingness to assist in all areas necessary.
