A prominent firm in the construction sector is looking for a skilled Assistant Quantity Surveyor to enhance their social housing team. This role focuses on the construction of residential properties, including houses and apartment complexes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the preparation and oversight of cost estimates, budgets, and financial documentation for social housing initiatives.
  • Support the tracking and management of project expenditures, ensuring they align with financial objectives.
  • Collaborate with senior quantity surveyors, project leaders, and contractors to collect and interpret project data.
  • Participate in site inspections to evaluate progress and verify financial aspects.
  • Assist in negotiations with suppliers and subcontractors to secure cost-efficient solutions.
  • Ensure adherence to applicable regulations, contracts, and industry standards.

Qualifications:
  • Prior experience or educational background in quantity surveying, construction management, or a related discipline.
