Lead a Talented Team in International Policy and Advocacy

UNICEF UK is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our International Policy and Advocacy team. As Head of International Policy and Advocacy, you will be responsible for developing and implementing our policy and advocacy strategy across a range of issues, including UK development policy and finance, climate change, health, education, and nutrition.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement policy and advocacy strategies to influence UK government policy and decision-making
  • Lead a team of experts in policy and advocacy, providing guidance and support to ensure effective delivery of our strategy
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government officials, NGOs, and international partners
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of core international policy issues, processes, and frameworks
  • Represent UNICEF UK in international forums and meetings, promoting our work and influencing policy decisions

Requirements:
  • Proven experience in policy and advocacy, with a strong understanding of international policy issues and frameworks
  • Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines
