Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Corporate Reporting Accountant to join our team at Broster Buchanan Ltd on a 15-month contract basis. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for loading key reporting packs, preparing analytical reviews, and ensuring timely submission of financial statements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Reporting and Analysis: Load key reporting packs for submission to Group and its Subsidiaries, including preparation of analytical reviews.
  • Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare key Financial Statements for Subsidiaries to agreed timetables and reconcile with management reporting.
  • Audit Support: Provide key support in the management of the audit processes across the group, working closely with finance managers to deliver requests timely.
  • Relationship Building: Develop key relationships across Finance to ensure deadlines are met and processes are optimized.
  • Reconciliation and Review: Complete and own complex reconciliations, and review reconciliations prepared by analysts within the team.
Person Specification
  • Time Management: Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Process Improvement: Ability to drive process improvements and optimize financial reporting processes.
  • Business Relationships: Ability to build good business relationships with stakeholders across Finance.
  • Qualifications: ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified or Finalist, or QBE considered.
  • Audit Experience: Experience in Audit management and SOX testing (desirable).
Salary and Benefits

The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary of £40,000 - £45,000, commensurate with experience.
