About the Role

At Capgemini Engineering, we are driving innovation in the automotive industry by developing cutting-edge solutions for safety automation, electrification, and connectivity. As a Senior Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) Consultant, you will play a crucial role in leading the implementation of MES for greenfield automotive projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define MES architecture and select/configure MES solutions to meet client needs.
  • Integrate MES with other enterprise systems to ensure seamless data exchange.
  • Oversee system deployment and validation to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Develop and execute project plans, manage project resources, and ensure timely delivery within budget constraints.
Requirements
  • 12+ years of experience in Manufacturing Operations Management (MOM) with deep understanding of supply chain, production, and material planning in the automotive industry.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience as Subject Matter Expert (SME) in MOM/MES programs, including assessment, blueprinting, fit-gap assessment, solution design, and configurations.
  • Hands-on experience with standard MES products or bespoke MES solutions.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of interface/integration technologies and customer needs.
  • Proficient in Machine Integration within MES processes.
  • Fundamental knowledge of PLCs.
  • Knowledge of the Automotive or Manufacturing domain is essential.
Desirable Skills
  • Experience in Business Process Consulting, including problem definition, case and workflow design, detailing of processes, and process modeling.
  • Work with Agile scrum teams to analyze prioritized user stories and define sprint scope.
  • Experience in MSSQL development.
