Connected Kerb is seeking an experienced Clerk of Works to join our team, leading the accelerated delivery of our EV charging infrastructure network.

This is a critical role in our exciting expansion of EV charging infrastructure, both in the UK and overseas markets. As the Site Clerk of Works, you will be responsible for overseeing the health, safety, and quality of all on-site works as part of our installed EVCP build programme.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspecting construction works, including conducting audits and comparing them with project drawings and specifications.
  • Ensuring that construction works adhere to all CDM, safety regulations, and prioritizing safety.
  • Approving all Practical Completions vs the approved design and Accepted Programme.
  • Certifying all works complete to the Contract & Commercial team for payment as per the Work Order.
  • Supporting the onboarding process and exit of all install partners.
  • Advising on technical issues where required.
  • Liaising with Connected Kerb's installer partners and surveyors.
  • Producing regular reports to update the client and business.
  • Identifying and documenting any discrepancies between the work and the project specifications and ensuring they are rectified.
  • Working with the HSEQ department to ensure all health and safety, legal, construction, and quality requirements are met.
  • Certifying all works in line with health, safety, and quality requirements.
