We are seeking a proactive and skilled Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our growing Automation team at Maintech Recruitment.

This is an exciting opportunity to grow your career in a dynamic and innovative company, with significant investments being made in our automation systems.

As a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of automation equipment, including preventative and reactive maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine and non-routine maintenance on automation equipment, including machines and systems.
  • Undertake machine start-up, routine and planned shut down as required.
  • Communicate machine status and performance across shift teams to ensure effective handovers.
  • Maintain and repair automated bagging systems, conveyors, high bay cranes, auto stores, robots and other equipment.

Requirements:

  • Apprentice-trained Engineer with a strong background in electrical or mechanical disciplines.
  • NVQ/C&G Level 3 or greater with a bias towards electrical or mechanical disciplines.
  • Desirable experience with conveyors, cranes, sortation and hanging garment systems.
