Financial Manager

We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to join our team at First Recruitment Services. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing financial leadership and support to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist in the provision of consistent, efficient, and effective financial operations, ensuring the organization achieves its stated aims and objectives.
- Ensure financial regulations and best practices are followed at all times.
- Contribute to the review and development of financial processes and systems.
- Responsible for financial planning, including budgeting and forecasting.
- Manage daily transactions, debtors, and creditors, as well as payroll processing and monthly account reconciliations.
- Provide efficient and effective day-to-day management of the finance office, including invoice processing, bank reconciliations, and sales income.
- Maintain accurate and tidy accounts processing expenditure and income, ensuring reporting is accurate.
- Lead on ordering processes, ensuring a complete, accurate, and tidy purchase order system.
- Work collaboratively with the wider leadership team in monitoring annual income and expenditure, supporting forecasting and reporting.
- Develop and maintain systems to inform staff of all financial matters relevant to their roles.
- Support the financial audit processes and prepare year-end procedures, including accounts and reporting.
- Provide direct line management to the finance team and contribute to the development of training programs and learning opportunities.
- Appropriate financial qualifications, such as AAT or CIPFA, or significant experience in an educational finance environment.
- Excellent working knowledge of ICT/Finance systems procedures.
- Excellent knowledge of Financial Regulations, Policy, and Procedures.
- Experience of financial systems, financial regulations, credit control, and budget management.
- Excellent literacy and numeracy skills to understand complex written instructions and financial processes.
- Ability to present data clearly, concisely, accurately, and in ways that promote understanding.
- High level of ICT skills, including MS Office and management information systems.
