Security Officer

We are seeking a skilled Security Officer to provide a professional security service to our clients in Bournemouth. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our clients' premises, staff, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities:- Booking in drivers, contractors, and visitors
- Ensuring the safety of all types of visitors through inductions and providing relevant PPE
- Monitoring CCTV systems
- Issuing contractor and agency badges using software
- Controlling access and egress using access control software and physical barriers
- Locking down site entrances and ensuring all staff have left after late shifts
- Completing DOB and incident reports in a timely manner
- Providing assistance to people in need
- Proven experience as a security officer
- Frontline SIA licence
- Proven knowledge of PC knowhow, using Windows and Microsoft products
- Familiarity with report writing
- Presentation as a smart, confident person who takes pride in their appearance
- Experience with computer-based tasks, including booking in visitors, using access control and CCTV, and reading and replying to emails
All uniform will be provided, including PPE. The successful candidate will be required to attend a 3-day First Aid at Work course after a qualifying period of 3 months, unless a FAW certificate is already held. The successful candidate will also be granted staff shop access after the qualifying period. Job-specific training will be provided.
