Llanyrafon Primary School, part of Torfaen County Borough Council, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Site Manager to join our team. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the school's building is maintained in a safe and good working condition.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain the school's facilities, including grounds and buildings.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and site security protocols.
- Develop and implement effective maintenance plans to minimize downtime and optimize resource utilization.
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and external agencies to ensure a smooth and efficient school operation.
- Provide excellent customer service and support to students, staff, and visitors.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in an educational setting.
- Strong knowledge of health and safety procedures, site security protocols, and building maintenance practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to plan, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
- Physical fitness to perform tasks that require bending, lifting, and carrying equipment.
