About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Spanish Teacher to join our team. As a member of our faculty, you will be responsible for planning and preparing lessons, teaching pupils, and promoting their progress. You will also be expected to participate in open days, selection days, and parent evenings, as well as contribute to the life of the school.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and prepare lessons and schemes of work in line with departmental and school policy
  • Teach pupils and sets as assigned in the timetable, maintaining good order and discipline
  • Promote the progress of all pupils, differentiating for ability as required
  • Prepare pupils for external assessment at the relevant age ranges
  • Provide extra support after lessons if deemed appropriate by the Head of Department/Head of School
  • Participate in open days, selection days, parent evenings, and staff meetings
  • Carry out duties as deemed appropriate by the school's leadership team
Requirements
  • Native or mother tongue Spanish skills
  • Teaching experience at highly academic schools
  • PGCE, QTS, or equivalent
  • Excellent academic credentials
  • Commitment to professional development
  • Optimism, enthusiasm, energy, and a positive and flexible approach
