About the Opportunity
We are seeking a skilled Paramedic to join our team as a Functional Assessor, working in a hybrid role that combines clinical expertise with assessment skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough assessments of individuals with physical and mental health conditions, chronic pain disorders, and other disabilities to determine their eligibility for benefits.
- Develop and maintain strong clinical knowledge and assessment skills through ongoing training and supervision.
- Produce high-quality reports to support the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) in their decision-making process.
Requirements
- Valid HCPC registration number.
- At least 1 year of post-registration experience in a broad clinical setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
